Business Admin: Quick Start
You've determined you are a Business Admin.
Business Admins play a crucial role in managing specific business-related configurations within the platform. They are responsible for overseeing departmental or functional area settings, with a focused approach to content management and user administration. Their primary responsibilities include creating and managing department-specific knowledge bases, blueprints, and content, as well as establishing and maintaining department Smart Groups.
Business Admins also have the authority to create and manage users within their specific department, providing them with granular control over their business unit's digital ecosystem. They are empowered to monitor usage and ensure that their departmental resources are effectively utilized. However, their capabilities come with important limitations: they can only manage content assigned to their department, handle users within Smart Groups or roles for which they have been granted edit capabilities, and are explicitly prohibited from creating new roles or modifying global system settings.
This role strikes a balance between operational flexibility and controlled access, ensuring that departmental administrators can effectively manage their specific areas while maintaining overall system integrity and security.
